What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a low impact way to get stronger, more flexible and more confident in your body. It uses a specially designed machine called the Reformer, which uses spring based resistance to give you both support and challenge in equal measure.

It really is for everybody. Whether you are recovering from an injury, brand new to exercise, easing into your golden years, or already active and after something fresh, our classes meet you where you are. Every session is designed and led by our Chartered Physiotherapists and expert instructors, so you are in safe, knowledgeable hands from the very first class.

The benefits go far beyond fitness. Think better posture, stronger muscles, improved balance, less pain, and a deeper connection between your mind and body. Each week we welcome a wonderful mix of people through our doors, from postnatal mums and busy office workers to sportspeople looking to perform at their best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not currently. Carrigtwohill is our nearest, roughly 9 minutes from Midleton with free parking on site.
Start with the free introductory session. It is a short taster in a relaxed group setting and it will tell you far more than reading about it will.
Our classes are designed and led by Chartered Physiotherapists and qualified instructors. That is the reason we can safely take beginners, post surgery clients and experienced movers in the same programme.
Many people come to us for exactly that. We would usually suggest mentioning it when you book so the instructor can adapt the session, and in some cases a physiotherapy assessment first makes more sense.
Yes. Our OsteoFit Reformer Pilates classes are built around bone health and balance, and the Reformer is well suited to working safely at a gentler intensity.
Popular evening slots go first. Booking online a week ahead is usually enough, and the admin team can help you find a regular slot that works.
Cancellation terms are set out in the booking system when you reserve your place. If you are unsure, call the studio and we will talk you through it.
