Rhiannon graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from Auckland University of Technology in 2014. She began her career in Waikato Hospital, where she completed two years as a rotational physiotherapist, gaining experience in respiratory and cardiac care, orthopaedics, geriatrics, rehabilitation, paediatrics, surgery, and burns, followed by two and a half years in the outpatient musculoskeletal department. In this role, Rhiannon became well practiced in managing chronic and rheumatic pain conditions and working with post-surgical patients, and co-led a chronic pain education and management program with an Occupational Therapist.
Rhiannon has been living in Ireland and working at MaxPhysio since 2019. She enjoys working with a wide variety of conditions within the musculoskeletal, persistent pain, and respiratory realms.
Rhiannon holds a Post-graduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture, which also qualifies her for dry needling, and has completed courses in chronic pain management, back pain, Kinesio taping, exercise prescription, and Pilates. She is a qualified Neurolinguistic Programming practitioner, a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher, and is in the process of becoming an Oxygen Advantage breathwork instructor.
Personal interests:
Rhiannon enjoys spending her time reading, staying active through pilates, yoga and circuit classes, and exploring nature through hiking, sea dips and camping.

Rhiannon values a holistic approach to treatment, combining hands-on therapy, exercise, movement, and education. She is patient, personable, and understanding, and she works in a highly collaborative manner to ensure that your journey to wellness is at a pace that works for you and your lifestyle.

Rhiannon can do headstands and juggle, but not at the same time!
