Kate is a Reformer Pilates instructor who enjoys combining her BSc in Sports and Exercise Science with her ongoing MSc Physiotherapy studies at UCC to deliver classes that are both engaging and grounded in clinical knowledge.
Growing up, Kate was involved in many sports in particular GAA & basketball and experienced her share of injuries. Those injuries led her down a path of physiotherapy and mat Pilates, ultimately sparking her passion for movement, rehabilitation, and performance. Training as a Reformer teacher with Max Physio became a turning point and one of the best decisions she ever made.
Kate believes Reformer Pilates is a powerful tool for building strength, improving movement quality, and helping people reconnect with their bodies. Her teaching philosophy centres around creating a supportive environment where clients feel challenged, confident, and cared for. She integrates her physiotherapy training into every class to provide thoughtful cues, safe progressions, and a well-rounded experience for movers of all levels.
Outside the studio, you’ll find Kate playing Gaelic football with her local club, or exploring new ways to blend sport, rehab, and functional movement.
