What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a low impact way to get stronger, more flexible and more confident in your body. It uses a specially designed machine called the Reformer, which uses spring based resistance to give you both support and challenge in equal measure.

It really is for everybody. Whether you are recovering from an injury, brand new to exercise, easing into your golden years, or already active and after something fresh, our classes meet you where you are. Every session is designed and led by our Chartered Physiotherapists and expert instructors, so you are in safe, knowledgeable hands from the very first class.

The benefits go far beyond fitness. Think better posture, stronger muscles, improved balance, less pain, and a deeper connection between your mind and body. Each week we welcome a wonderful mix of people through our doors, from postnatal mums and busy office workers to sportspeople looking to perform at their best.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not in the town at the moment. Our nearest studio is Bandon, roughly 20 minutes away, with free parking outside.
That is your call, but the free intro session exists so you can find out without paying for it. Most people who make the trip do so because the classes are physio-led rather than general fitness classes.
Weekend slots are available at some studios. Check the live timetable when you book, or call and we will tell you what is running at Bandon.
Possibly, and it is worth mentioning when you book. Because our instructors are physiotherapists, they can build shoulder stability work into your sessions rather than treating it as a general class. Can I do one to one sessions only?
Yes. Some people stay with one to one work permanently, others use it to build confidence before joining a group class.
Class lengths are listed on the booking system. If you are unsure which session suits, the admin team can point you to the right one.
Yes, free parking directly outside, which makes the drive from Kinsale a lot less bother than parking in town.
