Where can I do Reformer Pilates near Bantry?

Our nearest studio to Bantry is Skibbereen, on Levis Quay. It is a drive of around 30 minutes, so it is worth being straight with you: this is a trip rather than a quick hop down the road.

What you get for it is Reformer Pilates designed and led by Chartered Physiotherapists, which is not the same as a general fitness class. Plenty of our West Cork clients travel a fair distance for that reason. If it suits you better, one to one sessions let you get more from a single visit than a group class would.

What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is a low impact way to get stronger, more flexible and more confident in your body. It uses a specially designed machine called the Reformer, which uses spring based resistance to give you both support and challenge in equal measure.

It really is for everybody. Whether you are recovering from an injury, brand new to exercise, easing into your golden years, or already active and after something fresh, our classes meet you where you are. Every session is designed and led by our Chartered Physiotherapists and expert instructors, so you are in safe, knowledgeable hands from the very first class.

The benefits go far beyond fitness. Think better posture, stronger muscles, improved balance, less pain, and a deeper connection between your mind and body. Each week we welcome a wonderful mix of people through our doors, from postnatal mums and busy office workers to sportspeople looking to perform at their best.

One to one sessions work well for this. You get a programme you can continue at home between visits, which suits people travelling from further out.
Yes, classes are booked through our online system rather than turning up on the day. Popular evening slots go first, so booking a week ahead is usually sensible.

Skibbereen runs from morning through to evening on most weekdays. Check the live timetable, or call and we will find a slot that justifies the journey.
