Aoife Greene
Women's Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Aoife graduated with a BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training from DCU in 2010. Throughout her training, Aoife worked with various sports teams and athletes which led her to her first role working in a sports injury clinic in Dublin. It was here that Aoife realised that she still had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and continuous development. As such, Aoife was accepted into the MSc Physiotherapy Manual Therapy course in Nottingham in 2011 as the first ATT on the course.
With an inspired new outlook, Aoife then took up a job in a private sports injury clinic in Reading where she progressed her manual therapy, rehabilitation skills and movement analysis with elite athletes. From here Aoife took an eighteen month stop back to Dublin continuing her career progression as a self-employed therapist before getting the itch for more education.
In 2015 Aoife was accepted into King’s College London on their MSc Physiotherapy course. Before graduating, Aoife secured a job in a leading private hospital in Reading and, after over 8 years here, Aoife progressed from a Band 4 to a Band 7 Physiotherapist managing the Physiotherapy Outpatient department with a mixed MSK and orthopaedics caseload.
Over the past 4 years, Aoife has found a passion for pelvic health therapy. Having completed five established courses, a specialist Physiotherapy role within women’s and men’s health was created for her by Ramsay Healthcare at the Berkshire Independent Hospital.
