Yes we work with all insurance companies, all of our physiotherapists are CORU registered and you will be eligible for a tax rebate or for claiming on your health insurance if you have physiotherapy included in your policy.

Our neuromuscular therapist are covered by certain insurers so you may need to check this when you are booking to see if you are covered. 

We have several levels of classes to ensure we can cater to all levels, from those who may be undergoing rehabilitation for an injury to those who are focusing on maintaining their flexibility and strength, we will have a class to suit your needs. We require a 1-2-1 prior to joining our
classes to ensure we know what level to direct you to start at.

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring scan/MRI reports, and list of medication. You may wish to bring shorts and t-shirt.
The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the physiotherapist will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.

No, physiotherapists can assess and treat without referral by a doctor and can liaise with your doctor when required throughout
your treatment. If you are not sure or would like more information please do not hesitate to call us on 0238859972 and we can discuss this with you further.

We see and treats patient for a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. Please visit our Services for an extensive list of conditions and diagnoses we see patients for.

You can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance. However, less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of €‎30.

You can cancel your appointment via email, directly through our online system or by calling 0238859972.

We have various levels of Pilates classes relating to the level of difficulty of the class. If you have not done Pilates before you will need to do a 1-2-1 prior to joining a Level 2 class or if you have previous relevant injuries. You do not need to complete a 1-2-1 if you join a level 1 reformer Pilates class.

Please wear clothes you feel comfortable to move in, bearing in mind you may be asked to expose the injured area to complete a full assessment. For a lower limb assessment, shorts can be useful. For an upper limb assessment a vest can be useful.

Our Pilates studios are shoe-free, please leave them in the designated area.

We ask that you wear clean socks during your class, ideally grippy socks if you have them.

Often it will be necessary to complete some movement based work as part of your rehabilitation so either come prepared or you can change at our premises.

It is a good idea to arrive 10 minutes early especially for your initial appointment. For classes, please arrive 5 minutes before your class starts.

The physiotherapy appointment will usually be 40 minutes long however shorter apts can be booked for 30 minutes where required. Massage and neuromuscular sessions usually last 1 hour but can also be booked in shorter slots.

Cancellation Policy

We operate on a 24-hour cancellation policy on all group and private sessions. Cancellations made after this time will be charged a cancellation fee of €30 or lose their class credit.

We know, sometimes things happen and you might have to cancel. Cancellations may be made on our online booking system WOD or by email – info@maxphysio.ie

We do not implement the cancellation policy on a case-by-case basis.

Pilates Memberships

All classes and groups of classes purchased have an expiry date and cannot be used once they have expired.

Partially used packages are non-refundable.

Clients cannot split or share packages.

Packages cannot be transferred to another client.

Clients cannot attend classes if booked under a different name this includes family members.

MaxPhysio reserves the right to change the teacher where emergency cover is required. Packages are not sold with a guarantee of a specific teacher taking certain classes.

Refund requests made more than 2 weeks after the date of the sale will not be allowed.

Packages cannot be extended and credits cannot be used once expired.
We reserve the right to change teachers, times of classes and types of classes.

If there is a medical reason that require classes to be paused then you will need to contact the office via email stating why at info@maxphysio.ie
