Shauna Kiely

Reformer Pilates Instructor & Administrator

Shauna Kiely brings warmth, fun, and a deep connection to her community to every Pilates session she leads. She grew up in Baltimore, nestled in the breathtaking nature of West Cork. Shauna originally studied History and Classics for her undergraduate bachelor’s degree, thanks to her passion for history, and later received a master’s degree in museum studies. While she spent time working in tourism in the city, she discovered her love for Reformer Pilates in her spare time.

Her journey into Pilates was life changing. What began as weekly classes to strengthen her body and calm her mind soon became the cornerstone of her well-being. She decided to turn her love for Pilates into a career and completed her Reformer Pilates teacher training here at MaxPhysio & Pilates to become a qualified instructor! Today, she empowers clients as both an instructor and administrator, blending effective guidance with compassion.

Philosophy & Approach

  • Pilates for Shauna isn’t just a workout—it’s a pathway to mental clarity and physical balance.
  • “A little bit of kindness goes a long way” is her guiding mantra, infusing every class with warmth, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.

Outside the Studio

  • Hobbies: Shauna loves baking, playing guitar, getting outdoors on walks and runs with her friends and family, and reading—especially fiction and history!
