What to expect at Max Physio?

On your first visit, you will be asked about the problem that has brought you to see us and the impact on your life and activities. Your physiotherapist will want to know about previous injuries, your general medical heath, and your physical goals. They will then perform a physical examination to establish what anatomical structures are the source of your pain, and what underlying factors might be contributing to the problem, such as weakness or biomechanical issues. From here, your physio will discuss the findings and consider the treatment options with you to achieve your specific goals. The treatment plan is tailored to you. Follow-up sessions will continue the treatment process and any adjustments, based on how you present, can be made to the plan.

We start with a thorough evaluation of your condition, medical history, and functional limitations.

Our physiotherapists use proven methods to address your pain and restore function, including:

We’ll guide you through every step of your recovery journey, providing tips and strategies to maintain progress at home.

How Physiotherapy Can Help

Pain Management
Techniques like manual therapy, dry needling, and therapeutic ultrasound can reduce pain and inflammation, providing immediate relief.
Individualised exercise programs help improve range of motion, strengthen muscles, and stabilise joints, ensuring long-term functionality.
By addressing muscle imbalances, improving biomechanics, and teaching proper movement patterns, physiotherapy reduces the risk of re-injury.
A structured rehab program promotes faster recovery, minimizes complications, and helps you regain independence after orthopaedic surgery.
At Max Physio, we create tailored plans based on your specific needs, lifestyle, and goals. Whether it’s returning to sport, work, or daily activities, we’re here to help you succeed.
